A Little Catch Up

I cant believe that the last time I posted was in May...where did the time go? I feel like so much has happened since then but also nothing at all. May was my Birthday and I also started back at work. Some crazy big changes have happened in the last two months and with everything going on, time just disappeared. I feel like I've had all the time in the world to do things and crochet but I feel like I've been so busy that I haven't had time to do anything. I saw something on Instagram the other day that perfectly summed up how I've been feeling and dealing (or not dealing) with the current situation, but I want to do a whole post on it, as its a little heavy as a first post after 2 months!

So how have you been? What have you been up to? Have you done any fun projects?

I've mainly been doing a diamond painting, which has been pretty fun and mindless while I've been struggling with ideas and motivation. If you haven't heard of them, they're basically paint by numbers but with tiny little gems that you stick to a picture that has been printed on tacky paper. I have thoroughly enjoyed doing mine (its a super 70s mystical unicorn!) and I've nearly finished it. I cant wait to put it with the rest of our Unicorn inspired art!

I've also been working on a blanket that has the pattern from the hallway carpet in The Shining. I absolutely love it! It took me a while to work it out, as I've never written a pattern as big as this before, but once I figured it out I was so pleased with myself! I cant wait to finish it and then it will be on its way to England to go live with my dad. I'm definitely going to have to make my self one though!

Apart from that I've just been snackin, chillin, eatin and sleepin. Hopefully in the next month or so I'll be able to do a shop update and have some fun things to sell, but honestly, Im not going to put any pressure on myself this year. Maybe I'll have stuff, maybe I won't. I know thats not a very good business model but it saves my sanity, for the time being.

Hope you all have a great week!
